Anonymous does not mean invisible.

You use a generated nickname instead of a public profile. Other participants do not receive your session credential. Messages are visible to the service for delivery and moderation. They are not end-to-end encrypted, and other participants can copy or screenshot them.

What is kept

Messages are kept in a recent buffer for 15 minutes and in authenticated history for up to 24 hours. Reports have a separate 7-day retention period. Flush & leave ends your session and clears your local view. It does not erase other participants’ copies or safety reports.

Connection information is used to operate the service and limit abuse. Ordinary application logs and analytics do not include message contents or session credentials.

On your device

A short-lived, HttpOnly session cookie lets you reconnect. This tab stores its unsent draft, pending sends and muted participants for recovery. Flush clears the local session view and recovery state. The site does not request a camera, microphone or location.

What is public

The homepage, this explanation, the rules and the question library are public. Chat history and moderation records require authorization and are not published as searchable pages.

Do not share identifying, confidential, financial or health information in a room of strangers.
